Do You Need A Tote Hanger?

This is a Sponsored Post, but all opinions about the product are mine and not influenced by anyone

Hello Lovely,

Now I know I’m not a purse girl, but my mum and I share about 6 handbags. But I can’t deny, every time I see a handbag in the store I get excited. The only reason I don’t use handbags more often is because at work I only need a lunch bag and my laptop bag, so having a purse is useless. Another reason I don’t buy more bags is lack of storage.

So when I found out about the Tote Hanger, I had to find out more. This patented design was invented by Jacki Easlick. Jacki Easlick is the former Design Director for Kenneth Cole Productions and Vera Bradley. Jacki has also designed handbags for respected brands including Tahari, Target, Victoria's Secret, Henri Bendel's Izak, Nine West, Steve Madden, Baggallini, NY&CO, Jones New York, Macy's, Avon Mark, and Lily Jade. Jacki has also designed for successful pop culture icons such as Hello Kitty, Hannah Montana, Hilary Duff and the Kardashians. The Tote Hanger is a small metal hook made of nickel that is designed to hang on any traditional clothing rod just like coat hangers. Simply remove the contents of your handbag and hang your handbag on the hook.

I gave it a try but I have mixed feelings about it. The hook is very easy to use, but it is not practical. As a fashionista, I looooooove my clothes. Even though I got rid of a lot of clothes this year (more on that later), my closet is still full of clothes. So I don’t have any space in my closet to hold any handbags. And when I tried it out in our spare closet, I honestly had to take some clothes out just to hang up the purses and they took up way too much space. My mum and I each have a bookcase in our room and the top shelf is reserved for handbags. This is a more effective way to hold our purses than taking up vital space in the closet. Two purses took up the space of about 20 hangers and that just wasn’t going to work for me.

Even though the hanger can also hang off the door, that’s not exactly practical either. So my final verdict? If you have a lot of handbags or limited closet space, then this may not be the product for you. It just didn’t work for me. I’d rather keep my handbags on a shelf.

However, if you don’t have a lot of clothes in your closet, or if you have a walk in closet space, then the Tote Hanger may be perfect for you. It can be a great way to store your purses, especially if you aim to keep them stored a particular way.

The Tote Hanger is only $10 available for purchase here and I really suggest you take a look to decide if the Tote Hanger is what you need to display your handbags in style!
