Friday Favourites: 5 Projects to Try This Weekend

Hello Lovely,

There’s no better way to celebrate the weekend than with a good DIY project. Take advantage of the sunshine and get a couple of your besties together for a craft date, complete with home décor and beauty treatments! So here are the 5 projects I’m looking forward to the most to tackle this weekend before Monday rolls back around!

1. Fabulous Pearl Collar

If you fancy yourself as a fashionista or want to avoid wearing the same clothes as everyone seems to be wearing –you know those same capsule styles that you see in every mall you go to – then get creative with some quick and easy home-made fashion pieces.

2. DIY Cake Stand

Use a scalloped pie or tart pan: If you love cake stands with frilly edges, try using a tart, quiche or wavy-edged pie pan as the top of your cake stand. Just pick up an inexpensive candlestick holder at your local dollar store for the base and paint it to match whatever colour your pie pan is. Use some museum putty to create a strong (but temporary) bond between the two while you use it as a cake stand.

3. Chocolate Oatmeal Face Mask
