I spent a week in Toronto on holiday. While I had “visited” Toronto before (back in 2016), it was only an overnight connection. So all I saw was the Toronto skyline on my way to the airport. This time I had plans to explore the city and do a little shopping. It’s worth noting that all of my trips at some point turn into a shopping trip. Once I had finished all of the tourist-y stuff, it was time to hit the stores. I checked out Michael’s, Marshalls, Zara, NYX, Hudson’s Bay, Home Sense, Dollarama and Walmart. I also checked out a boutique in the Distillery District called City of Angels and quaint shop in Niagara-on-the-lake called Ten Thousand Villages. While I was in love with a lot of the things I saw in the last two stores, they were a little too pricey for me, so I didn’t pick up much. It’s also worth noting, I would’ve loved to pick up more at Ten Thousand Villages, a store for fair trade handmade gifts and crafts from international artisans, but I would’ve have to ship those items home, which would cost a pretty penny. I also checked out Michaels, Home Sense, Dollarama and Marshalls.
Above I’m sharing the items I picked up while packing for my return trip from Toronto. Check it out! If you haven’t already, don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel so you won’t miss any more of my new videos!
