Hello Lovely,

I don't know about you, but honey mustard is my absolute favourite dipping sauce! My aunt introduced me to it about 6 years ago and now it's all I want! I thought nothing could possibly be better than honey mustard until I tried Pineapple honey mustard this summer. THAT WAS LIFE! The next time I make this sauce I'm definitely going to kick it up a notch, but for now I thought I would keep it simple for you guys.

Let's face it, the name says it all. Honey Mustard. Hmm....I wonder what goes in it? Some people add mayonnaise but my lactose intolerance forbids me from going that route. It's such a simple pleasure, I can add honey mustard to just about any dish!

So the next time you're having people over, skip the lines at the food store and whip this little number up for an added handmade touch to the meal!

Homemade Honey Mustard Recipe
serves 4

1/2 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons olive oil
fresh-ground black pepper to taste

Whisk together all of the ingredients. Serve with your favourite chicken, steak, or burger recipe.

There, wasn’t that easy?

Want something fancier? Try adding tropical fruits such as pineapple or mango for a sweet flavour in every bite!

NOTE: Will store up to a week in the fridge. I recommend making as needed and using right away.
